Emergency

Below you can read what you should do if you or someone else needs emergency care. For acute and emergency care, our hospital in Goes is open 24 hours a day. The locations Vlissingen and Zierikzee do not have an Emergency Department.

Call 112 in a life-threatening situation

Always call 112 in a life-threatening situation or when transporting the victim is not possible.

Non-life-threatening situation

If the situation is not life-threatening and you can transport the victim yourself, go to the GP or the GP after-hours service depending on the time:

  • Between 08:00 and 18:00, you can contact your GP or their replacement.
  • Between 18:00 and 08:00, in the weekend and on public holidays, you can contact the GP after-hours service.

If the GP or GP after-hours service is unable to treat you (directly), you will be referred to the Emergency Department (A&E).
